This is the first ever podcast from Good Mood Food, called Bite-sized Advice from a mama who has had a gutful! Your host is Mary Kelly, owner of Good Mood Food Sole Balms and Healing protocols: www.goodmoodfood.net.au. In this first episode, Mary unpacks her number one piece of foundational advice for people who are beginning or re-engaging in the healing process: Overcoming FEAR, and understanding how it so often stems from the dysfunction of perfectionism. Fear of failure is not a great foundation for healing the body of chronic illness and toxic overload. Understanding our toxic thoughts, both with regards to the world we live in and the poor health we and our family are suffering from, and the stress they create will be the best start you can give yourself to moving forward with an attitude of INFLUENCING your health instead of believing you can control it. Excellence vs Perfectionism. A big part of this is understanding your attitude about RISK. Are you avoiding it altogether, or are you assessing it and responding accordingly?
